IDPA-style Defensive Pistol Shoot
These will be fun events designed to provide practical experience with concealed carry handguns. You can expect to use your weak hand, shoot while moving, reload behind cover, and engage multiple targets in tactical priority. All in usually less than 60 seconds. These have always been exciting and humbling shoots. You do not need to be an RSC or IDPA member to partcipate.
Basic Requirements
- Any Caliber Revolver or Semi-Auto Pistol
(Preferably your regular carry or home defense gun)
- Concealment vest, jacket, or unbuttoned shirt
- 2 magazines or speed loaders
- 50 rounds of ammo - Reloads are OK
- Concealed Handgun holster. Mag or speed loader holster is suggested, but not required
- Eyes and Ear protection
Since this is a night shoot, flashlights and lasers are
permitted.
