On Wednesday, August 20th, our first Defensive Pistol FUN Shoot was attended by 25 shooters. A very special thanks goes out to Curt Becker (Creative Stage Builder) and Craig Brunner (Range Officer) for
making this a fun and safe event.
After the first string - ALL shooters were ready and eager to try a second attempt. We each shot two lines consisting of 6 targets that required two hits per target. All shots are taken while moving or behind cover. All mag changes are made behind cover. We even shot targets using single weak and strong hand hold. This IDPA-like shoot is designed to help us become aware of our own defensive pistol skill sets. It's very humbling, exciting, and a ton of fun packed into 40 seconds or less!
