CLUB ACTIVITIES: Our activities include an annual fall, winter, spring, and summer Trap and Skeet league. There is a spring and summer Pistol league as well as blackpowder and other special shoots held throughout the year depending on member interest. There is a monthly NSSA 100-target shoot and twice a year the club hosts a NSSA 500-target shoot - you must be a member of NSSA or MSSA to participate in this event. RSC holds a monthly subscription gun raffle with the prize being awarded on meeting nights. RSC also holds an annual Buck Fever Raffle and pre-deer season public Sight-In days. We sponsor Tracks magazine to area schools, Boy Scouts and have a college scholarship program. We send youngsters to MUCC summer camp, and participate in area conservation projects. Donations to civic and charitable organizations are made; such as Sportsman Against Hunger. State & local police agencies and the U.S. Custom's officers use our ranges for their qualification requirements. We participate in MUCC district and state meetings and also help sponsor members to MUCC District #5 Trap/Skeet shoots as well as participating in their annual state shoot every year. We have a very active grounds committee that oversees the maintenance and construction projects undertaken by club members. Activities vary from cleaning and maintenance, up keep of ranges and grounds, to construction projects. RSC has an annual outing for its members, as well as a summer camp out. We enjoy many dinners and other activities planned by our social events committee.
