Intermediate Archery Classes

Intermediate and advanced archery classes are being held on Saturdays from 8:30am ~ 10:30am starting on November 24th. The classes for boys and girls, ages 10 to 18, and are taught by members of the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Program. CPL (formally known as CCW) Classes   

There is a concealed pistol class being planned for Monday, Sept. 22nd   from 7-9 PM and Saturday, Sept. 27th  from 8:30 AM - 3 PM. This class qualifies a person to obtain a concealed pistol license formally known as a CCW permit. Advance registration is necessary. If interested contact Terry Stuart at tdstuart@charter.net or 616-887-9917 to register. Cost for the class is $100. You do not have to be a club member to take this class. Both sessions are going to be held at the club. You must attend both classes to obtain a permit. If you do not have a handgun yet there will be several rental guns available.

Beginning Trap/Skeet Shooting Class

Cost is $75 per student. Class size is limited to 20 students..

A beginners class to learn the basics of shooting at clay targets in two of the most popular shotgun games. Instruction is given in firearm safety and firearm operation before students are taken to the range. Range fees include instruction and shoot fees. There will be loaner shotguns for those participants who need one. Shotgun shells of the appropriate gauge are available for purchase at $4 per box of 25. There is lots of one on one instruction and an enjoyable time will be had by all. Dates are Wednesdays beginning April 12th for six weeks from 6-8 PM at RSC.
