The CMP shoot for Saturday March 26th shoot is going to be a sniper match.
Format is 60 rounds..plus sighters. Spotter required for shots at various distances.

Bench rests and/or sandbags may be used

Dates:                        Thursdays:  August 11, 2011, August 25, 2011, September 8, 2011, and September 22, 2011
Format:

50 yards,        A23/5  50 yard small bore rifle target 14” x 24”
5 ea 3-7/8” bulls (1 sighting, 4 target)
1 set   unlimited round practice  5 minutes (not scored)
4 sets 10 rounds                             2 minutes/set

25 yards,        A7/10 25 yard small bore rifle target 12” x 17”
                        10 ea 2-3/8” bulls
1 ea 10-stick Postema target
1 set   10 rounds (A7/10)               2 minutes
1 set   10 rounds (Postema)                     2 minutes
There will be no alibi shots, if you have a non-fire round, or your gun jams, you forfeit those points.

Scoring:        A23/5 targets will be scored as per numbers on rings + bullseyes as tie breakers, A7/10 targets will be scored by number of bulls hit, 1 hit per bull + bullseyes as tie breakers. Stick targets will be scored by number of sticks hit

Limited to 24 shooters (first come first serve)

Sign up begins at 5:30 PM, first shot at 6 PM
